DJAZZ CELTICA West Cornwall based acoustic duo, DjazzCeltica are Pam & Noel Betowski, playing their own compositions, arrangements of gypsy jazz (the style developed by Django Reinhardt & Stephane Grappelli in the 1930s) and Celtic & Irish traditional material. Pam and Noel started playing around the folk clubs of London and Southern England in the late 70s playing as a duo and with Irish fiddler Bobby Casey, £42 Cheque and Ex-Tradition. They have more recently become involved in Hot club jazz. They play as a duo and with other musicians including Pete Berriman and in the Hot Club 'Gypsy Jazz Quintet of Cornwall'. TOM DALEAs a singer-songwriter, Tom Dale draws on many influences including artists such as Robert Johnson, Woody Guthrie and Huddy Leadbetter. Each song he writes is a tale of life, sung with a rare honesty and conviction.
A prolific song-smith, with a street-worn command of rack harmonica, finger-style, lap and slide guitar, he is an experienced and unique performer who tips a respectful hat to the roots of traditional music.

CLIVE PALMER AND BOB DEVEREUXClive Palmer founded The Incredible String Band in 1965. The band subsequently became widely known and highly influential during the flower power years even playing at the Woodstock festival. Clive went onto form C.O.B in 1972 who also attracted a cult following . They made two albums for CBS which are now collectors items. The Incredible String Band reformed in 2001 and have been touring widely in Europe and America.

JANETTE EATHORNE As the host of the Newlyn Fish Festival stage, Janette is one of the best loved and most recognised face of the festival.
Her Cornish voice has been heard reporting from events all over Cornwall. You name it, she has been there adding her own touch of humour and local knowledge. Born in St Ives, wife, mother and grandmother Janette also has time for her main hobbies, singing and sailing.-
NEWLYN MALE CHOIRThe Newlyn Male Choir has always travelled, in the early days to take part in competitions both within Cornwall and further afield. For local people, and many visitors to Cornwall, it is the concerts given in and around the village that are remebered with pleasure and we all have our favourite songs. A group of male singers from the Rame Peninsula. Formed in the early 1980’s the group sing for pleasure all over the West Country and have also performed in Brittany, Germany and Ireland. BLAZING HEART CHORUSWe are lucky to welcome Penzance's own community choir, based at the Acorn Arts Theatre. The Acorn Choir has around 50 members and performs at local festivals like Golowan and Lafrowda, as well as other events and concerts. -
RUM AND SHRUB SHANTY MENRum and Shrub Shanty Men are a group of singers who sing shanties, sea songs, and traditional folk songs, they are Alan,Ben, Bob, Colin, Harry, Jules, Nigel, and Roger, they are equally at home on a Concert stage, boat in the harbour, quay side, or in a bar, they have been singing together for many years, and have made recordings of their music.
